Throughout university, I worked as a Digital Media Assistant with the Dinos Athletic Program, covering a variety of sports events.
In that experience, I drafted and submitted pregame press release material and real-time game highlights for Twitter (now X) and other social media feeds such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and conducted post-game team interviews (coaches and players) and write-ups.
I gained knowledge of package editing for quick content release during and post-game. These transferable skills of writing timely, catchy and informational pieces and working with sports teams and schedules are valuable lessons I have learned.
I have also worked at the Calgary Winter Club restaurant for the last 6 years, in various hospitality positions, including lead server and bartender.
My visual arts experience includes a study abroad opportunity to Hawaii for a spring course that yielded a portfolio of photography methods with software experience in Photoshop and Lightroom Classic.
